Silenciaga, Pre-Fall 2013
This season we’re seeing some seriously seaward selections from Silenciaga. The sheer nakedness lightens this collection in an aquatic arrangement of seductive sea-foams and surreal ceruleans, all atop shimmering scaled pieces. An abrupt flourish of furs sets the mood for this provocative collection. On a boat, on the shore, or drowning at sea, these looks are drenched in decadence.
Blurblurry, Fall/Winter 2014
This galactic collection from design house Blurblurry emphasizes a neo-feminine approach to classic, billowing silhouettes juxtaposed by the harsh starkness of futurist hip-hop culture accents. The use of speckles and furs gives an alluring sensation of the wild outdoors, as the fleshy pinks robustly vibe viscerally, invoking virility.
